Site update - Aug 2008

The Website:

Re-did practically every page on The Archive... not very changed, but I adjusted a bunch of code and added some new images here and there. Most notably will be the "Jenny Head" image. There's a new one that's much more details. The old one may still be seen on a few old things until I find and fix them.

Stories, Cameos, Arcs, and Single Strips have all been separated.

Also, a lot of the dedicated stories have a ****.JennyEverywhere.net Domain name as well.... both Hosted here and elsewhere. The stories shoudl have what the URL is on the pages themselves. Soon, from the STORIES main page, the links should soon be the .net domains for easy link grabbing.

I re-did the navigation that appears on the top of (now) every page. It was a bit fractured before, but it should look much nicer now, plus with even more Navigation. Now people no longer need to go back "HOME" to click on "Stories, Arcs, etc..."

A couple new pages will be updated over the next few weeks. the "Store" and "In Print", ones for instance, are place holders. So I don't have to go back and redo a tone of pages again when they are more in use. Also, I have new links for the "Blog" and "Forum" so I can make them re-direct pages that I can easily change in the future, if and when I decide to move to a different blog and/or forum.

A few new arts. A Story. An incomplete story. A Cameo. Also, The "counts" have been updated and should be fairly accurate... 106+ individuals that have had something to do with Jenny Everywhere. "+" because of a few "unknowns". Plus, I'm certain, some have worked behind the scenes in some ways, and some may not have been found yet.

http://JennyEverywhere.net will go to a page inspired by the original .com site... but still is pretty different. Well, the page has been linked to by this domain for a while, actually. The page has mini-avatars of Jenny, with links to the related Story, Cameo, Single Strip, or Story Arc. The old .com site only linked to hosted stories. Art avatars will never be posted on this page. Also, where there may be duplicates (say maybe the same jenny can be found in cameos AND Stories or such), I'll use my judgment to pick which on to link to. I may pick both. This page is not the best recollection of all stories. Especially where projects are concerned.


Plans for the Future:

I plan to stick that chat-box back on the site somewhere.

The Artwork page is gonna get a ton of art. (I have a lot of arts I have not put up yet which are actually fairly old). I plan to separate the Trading Card Game original art entries into the art section as well. I'll also post the trading cards themselves there.

There are a couple stories to add... I believe most if not all of them are unfinished... there may only be 1-2.. I'd have to check again.

Rule of Thumb: Single panel comics (with nothing else but a single "strip") will be added to the ART section and not into the new "Singles" section. Why? A single panel "comic" is not a "comic strip" which means more than one panel, or more than one image of sequential art. Unless its too a missing or unfinished story... which indicates the is more somewhere, or more to be added (in which case I'd have to know that there ARE intentions to finish).

Also, there are... 3? Written Stories that I need to update as well.
